Job Summary:
Perform financial analysis and risk assessment. Underwrite transactions jointly with Relationship Managers. Prepare loan presentations and participate in the credit approval process. Call on customers and prospects jointly with Relationship Managers. Major Responsibilities:
- Spread historical financial statements, prepare financial projection models, complete risk assessments, and perform sensitivity analysis.
- Analyze financial ratios and company operating performance as part of ongoing client risk management.
- Assist senior officers in the preparation of credit recommendation requests and participate in discussions with credit administration.
- Maintain client information in alignment with regulatory requirements and monitor covenant compliance.
- Participate in ongoing portfolio monitoring projects and task forces, including the tracking and reporting of portfolio trends.
- Participate in the ongoing quality control process related to data accuracy and integrity.
- Ensure that the portfolio management is consistent with Bank\'s current policies and practices.
- Identify customer needs and level of servicing required through discussions with corporate officers and analysis of financial status and/or operations.
- Attend calls with senior officers to solicit the Bank\'s credit and non-credit services to potential customers and to cross-sell additional services to existing customers.
- Respond to operational problems experienced by assigned customers and work through other departments of the Bank for research and final resolution.
Required Education:
Skills Required:
- Excellent quantitative, analytical, communication, and writing skills are critical.
- Organization, time management, the ability to work independently and attention-to-detail are also important skills.
- Computer literacy is required, including knowledge of MS Word and Excel.
