This position is responsible for providing finance support to the Strategic Initiatives / Business Development group and providing bookings and new business investment (NBI) guidance and analysis for the Raytheon Applied Signal Technology Leadership and Corporate Finance within SAS. The Financial Analyst for will report to the FP&A manager and interact directly with the Strategic Initiatives Vice President and his team, the Mission Area FP&A analysts and the rest of the SAS FP&A team. Primary Responsibilities: - Report bookings/backlog actuals and forecast for monthly and ad-hoc reviews. - Be the OMS financial lead, helping ensure the accuracy of monthly bookings projections - Support bookings reporting for 5 Yr Finance Plan and Annual Operating Plan - Prepare monthly NBR Reports - Track SI budgets and - Support the NBI budgeting process for the Annual Operating Plan and Quarterly NBI reviews. - Provide ad-hoc financial analysis FP&A and SI team - Help ensure that correct metrics are recorded for new and existing opportunities Basic Qualifications: - Minimum 5 years experience in finance position - Able to communicate effectively with all levels of management, both orally and in writing - analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills - desktop computer skills, - Able to work effectively and flexibly in a fast-paced, changing environment Desired Skills: - Familiarity with New Business Investment budgeting and with bookings forecasting - Prior FP&A experience - Familiarity with Return on Investment (ROI) analysis and business case reviews - In depth knowledge of financial statements and their interrelationships - Knowledge of CRM Required Education (including Major): Bachelor\'s degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, Economics or equivalent This position requires a pre-employment background investigation.
